It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience. >>About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced professional to support the Finance Department in enhancing tax and non-tax revenue systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public finance, with a focus on revenue management and policy analysis. >>Key Responsibilities: -Conduct in-depth analysis of public finance systems , particularly in the context of tax and non-tax revenue . -Evaluate the constitutional powers related to taxation, including the scope for new taxes or merging existing ones , through: Economic studies Legal and statutory reviews Comparative analysis with other states/countries -Review the legal and operational framework of all state-imposed taxes (excluding GST) to: Identify opportunities to expand the tax base Recommend improvements in tax collection and administration Suggest changes to enhance revenue realization and reduce outstanding dues -Analyze the current tax collection mechanisms , including: Compliance processes Cost of compliance and collection Taxpayer challenges Ease of Doing Business -Propose reforms to improve: Departmental structure Use of technology Organizational efficiency >>Required Qualifications & Experience: Experience: Minimum 6 years Education: Postgraduate degree in one of the following or equivalent: M.A. (Economics) or M. Eco or MBA (Finance) or M. Stats or M.
