Job Title: Electronic Lab TechnicianJob SummaryThe Electronic Lab Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and supporting electronic laboratory equipment and experiments. The role involves assisting faculty and students during practical sessions, ensuring proper functioning of instruments, and maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and maintain electronic laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and trainers - Assist faculty during laboratory sessions, demonstrations, and experiments - Prepare lab experiments and ensure availability of required components and materials - Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic instruments and circuits - Maintain inventory of electronic components, tools, and consumables - Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of electronic equipment - Follow laboratory safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards - Maintain lab records, manuals, and equipment usage logs - Support students in understanding lab procedures and proper use of instruments - Coordinate with vendors for repair, maintenance, and procurement of lab equipmentQualifications & Skills- Diploma / ITI / bachelor’s degree in Electronics. - Proven experience working in an electronics laboratory or technical environment - Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and testing equipment - Ability to read circuit diagrams and technical manuals - Basic knowledge of soldering, PCB handling, and troubleshooting - Familiarity with lab safety practices - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience- 1–3 years of experience in an electronics lab, academic institution, or industry preferred - Freshers with strong practical skills may also be considered
