Location: Gandhinagar (Gift City)-GujaratShift: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PMWorking Days: 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday offPlease note: We are currently seeking candidates who have relevant experience in both UK Corporate Tax and UK Bookkeeping. Please note that this is an on-site position, and remote working is not available.We are also looking for immediate joiners who can start within one month. Candidates who are available to join at the earliest are encouraged to apply.We are looking for an Assistant Manager with strong experience in UK bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts and financial statement review, who can take ownership of deliverables, workflows, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities:Detailed examination and review of financial statements, bookkeeping records, VAT returns, and management accounts.Continuous monitoring of HMRC and Companies House lodgements, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.Preparation of a complete deliverables pack, including:Reviewed workpapers (WP)Final financial statements (FS)Cover letters and summary observations for client discussions.Proactive collaboration with internal teams on daily/weekly progress tracking and issue resolution.Overseeing, refining, and improving existing accounting, VAT, and management reporting processes.Working closely with the tax and practice administration teams to chase information, manage dependencies, and meet deadlines.Discussing and testing accounting and tax assumptions through deeper analytical procedures to ensure they are realistic and supportable.Analysing current tools and technologies and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Workflow management — visibility of team capacity, setting priorities, and managing task flow.Time & effort transparency — time tracking, fee reviews, and supporting billing discussions.Providing leadership oversight, owning quality, handling escalations internally, and reducing dependency on external financial teams. What We’re Looking ForStrong experience in UK accounting practice (bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts, year-end reviews).Prior exposure to reviewing junior team work and handling workflows.Good understanding of UK compliance and reporting requirements.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines confidently.Process-driven mindset with a focus on quality and ownership.
