Job Title:US Bookkeeping Associate/Senior AssociateJob Location:GIFT City, Gandhinagar (Gujarat)Work Timings:2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (5 days a week)Work Model:Full-time (On-site)Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented US Bookkeeping Associate with experience in legal accounting to manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities for US-based legal clients. The role involves trust accounting, reconciliations, payroll management, and compliance with legal and ethical accounting standards.Roles and Responsibilities:Handle trust accounting, including tracking and managing client funds in compliance with legal and ethical standards.Accurately record and reconcile attorney fees, expenses, and disbursements.Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes for assigned clients, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Manage client payroll and payroll tax processes.Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, cash-flow models, and supplemental reports.Ensure all financial transactions comply with legal accounting standards and trust accounting regulations.Work closely with legal professionals to understand and support their specific accounting requirements.Utilize legal accounting software and tools efficiently.Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to streamline bookkeeping operations.Qualifications and Experience:CA Inter / CMA / CMA Inter with relevant experience.2–4 years of experience in US bookkeeping for legal clients.Strong knowledge of legal accounting principles and trust accounting regulations.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
