Security Operations Center Analyst

Key Responsibilities- Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents using defined SOC processes and playbooks. - Execute, maintain, and enhance incident response playbooks to ensure timely and effective handling of security events. - Perform threat intelligence analysis to identify vulnerabilities and emerging threats. - Coordinate with IT, security teams, and Japanese stakeholders for incident handling and reporting. - Document security incidents, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. - Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.Skills & Qualifications- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity operations role. - Mandatory experience in creating, executing, and improving SOC incident response playbooks. - Mandatory proficiency in Japanese language (spoken and written). - Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. - Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security tools. - Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security. - Experience with incident response and basic forensic analysis methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. - Good communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
