Job TitleSenior SailPoint ISC Developer - RBAC (5+ Years Experience)Role SummaryThe Senior SailPoint ISC RBAC Developer is a hands-on technical role responsible for building, configuring, and optimizing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions within SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).This role focuses on advanced RBAC development, access modeling, lifecycle automation, and governance enablement across large-scale enterprise environments.The Senior Developer is expected to own RBAC development workstreams, contribute to design decisions, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and audit-ready implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesRBAC Development & EngineeringDevelop and implement enterprise RBAC models (Business, IT, and Entitlement Roles) in SailPoint ISCPerform role mining, role refinement, and role optimization using identity and entitlement dataConfigure role hierarchies, inheritance, birthright access, and lifecycle eventsImplement controls to detect and remediate over-provisioning and toxic accessSailPoint ISC Configuration & CustomizationConfigure SailPoint ISC components including:Roles and Access ProfilesIdentity attribute mappings and correlationsAccess request, approval, and provisioning workflowsIntegrate RBAC with Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processesHands on experience writing rules and workflows.Support and enhance role-based certifications and access reviewsExperienced with build and deployment process.Application Integration & AutomationOnboard applications into SailPoint ISC using RBAC.Work with application owners to map entitlements into standardized rolesTroubleshoot provisioning, de-provisioning, and role assignment issuesSupport integrations with AD, Azure AD, SaaS, databases, and custom appsGovernance, Compliance & QualityEnsure RBAC implementations align with least-privilege, SoD, and Zero Trust principlesSupport audit requests with role evidence, access mappings, and remediation dataContribute to RBAC standards, naming conventions, and development best practicesTechnical LeadershipProvide technical guidance to junior developers and engineersParticipate in design reviews and implementation planningContribute to continuous improvement of RBAC frameworks and delivery acceleratorsRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience5+ years of IAM / IGA experience, with strong hands-on RBAC development3+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)Proven experience delivering RBAC in complex, multi-application environmentsTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in:Role engineering and role miningEntitlements, access profiles, and certificationsIdentity lifecycle automation (JML)Experience integrating SailPoint ISC with:Active Directory, Azure ADSaaS and cloud platformsCustom and legacy applicationsComfortable working with data for access analysis (CSV, reports, analytics outputs)Soft SkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityClear technical documentation skillsAbility to work independently in Agile delivery teamsComfortable owning development deliverables end-to-endPreferred / Nice to HaveSailPoint ISC certificationExperience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, insurance)Exposure to CIAM or PAM integrationsExperience supporting large-scale access remediation or certification campaigns
