Job Title:Quote Builder Tester Location:Hyderabad, Telangana, India Contract Duration:6 months (Extendable) Experience Required:5+ years Employment Type:Contract Department:Quality Assurance / Software TestingJob Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedQuote Builder Testerto join our QA team on a6-month contract (extendable) . The candidate will be responsible for testing Quote Builder and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) applications to ensure functionality, performance, and system integration quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process, test automation, and integration testing with backend systems such as Salesforce or Oracle CPQ. Key Responsibilities: Review business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Performfunctional ,integration ,regression , andend-to-end testingfor Quote Builder and CPQ systems. Validate workflows, pricing logic, configuration rules, and approval processes. Conduct bothmanualandautomated testing(as applicable). Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve defects. Execute API and backend validation testing using tools likePostmanorRestAssured . Participate inUAT support , defect triage, and root cause analysis. Prepare detailed test reports, track issues, and ensure quality delivery within timelines. Work closely with the QA lead to improve testing coverage and automation efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ yearsof experience in software testing, including at least2+ yearsin Quote Builder or CPQ application testing. Strong understanding ofQuote-to-Cash ,pricing , andproduct configurationworkflows. Hands-on experience withmanual and automation testingtools. Experience usingtest management toolssuch asJIRA ,TestRail , orZephyr . Knowledge ofAPI testing tools(Postman, RestAssured). Familiarity withSQLfor data validation and backend testing. Good understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies . Strong analytical and defect reporting skills. Preferred Skills: Experience withSalesforce CPQ ,Oracle CPQ Cloud , or other CPQ platforms. Exposure toautomation frameworks(Selenium, Cypress, TestNG). Basic knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand version control (Git). ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently in a contract environment and manage multiple priorities. Proactive in identifying risks and ensuring product quality.
