In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital.We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Compliance Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and accuracy in handling sensitive employee data.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess monthly payroll for employees with high accuracyHandle salary structure, earnings, deductions, reimbursements, and final settlements (F&F)Maintain payroll records and ensure timely salary disbursementManage attendance, leave, and variable inputs for payroll processingCoordinate with finance for salary transfers and reportingEnsure compliance with statutory regulations.Labor laws and Shops & Establishment ActTimely filing of returns and challansHandle audits related to payroll and complianceAddress employee queries related to salary, tax, and deductionsProvide payroll reports and tax declarationsAssist employees with Form 16, investment proofs, etc.Generate MIS reports on payroll, compliance, and headcountMaintain documentation for audits and statutory inspectionsEnsure data confidentiality and accuracyKey Skills & RequirementsStrong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory complianceHands-on experience with tools like Tally, Excel, or HRMS systemsUnderstanding of Indian labor laws and taxationHigh attention to detail and data accuracyGood communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or HRCertification in payroll/compliance (optional but preferred)
