The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and strategic vision to drive operational excellence, plant efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Engineering Operations & Plant ManagementLead and manage all engineering functions including maintenance, utilities, and facility managementEnsure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiencyOversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs2. Project Management & Continuous ImprovementPlan and execute plant expansion and automation projectsDrive lean manufacturing and productivity improvement initiativesImplement energy-saving and sustainability projects3. Utilities & Infrastructure ManagementManage electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, compressors, and other utilitiesEnsure uninterrupted utility supply for productionMaintain statutory and safety compliance4. Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgetsIdentify cost optimization opportunitiesMonitor engineering expenses and ensure financial control5. Leadership & Cross-Functional CoordinationLead, mentor, and develop the engineering teamWork closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teamsProvide technical and strategic guidance to senior management6. Governance, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulationsPromote a strong safety culture across the plantMaintain proper engineering documentation and standardsREQUIREMENTS (HIGHLIGHTED)Minimum 12 years of total engineering experience in an apparel manufacturing environment5–8 years of experience at Senior Manager levelBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering)Strong experience in plant maintenance, utilities, and large-scale factory operationsProven leadership experience handling large engineering teamsExperience in automation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement projectsStrong budgeting and cost control exposure (CAPEX & OPEX)Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesSUITABLE DESIGNATIONSSenior Engineering ManagerHead of EngineeringPlant Engineering ManagerEngineering & Maintenance ManagerTechnical Operations Manager
