Job Description: Warehouse Automation Project ManagerLocation: Sector 69, IMT, Faridabad, India Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Warehouse Automation Project Manager with hands-on experience in e-commerce and fulfillment automation. The ideal candidate understands sortation systems, conveyor solutions, robotic/automated packing, shipping label automation, and WMS integration. This person will lead automation initiatives from concept to commissioning — identifying opportunities, building ROI-based business cases, working with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Mapping: Analyse warehouse, order fulfillment, and shipping workflows to identify automation opportunities. Use Case Development: Build automation use cases with clear cost-benefit and ROI analysis for management. Technology & Vendor Evaluation: Identify automation partners for sortation, bagging, conveyors, and label printing solutions. Conduct RFPs, negotiate costs and SLAs. Project Delivery: Translate operational needs into technical specs, oversee system design, installation, testing, and go-live. System Integration: Ensure seamless connection between automation hardware and ERP/WMS (Odoo/SAP/Oracle/Custom). Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs (throughput, error reduction, labor cost savings) and validate post-implementation impact. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on latest trends in intralogistics, robotics, IoT, and AI-driven fulfillment automation.Must-Have SkillsProven experience in warehouse/e-commerce automation projects (sortation, conveyor, robotic packing, automated labeling). Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP, and API integrations. Excellent project management & vendor negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills to evaluate ROI and justify investments. Hands-on knowledge of automation hardware + software interaction.Good-to-Have SkillsExposure to RPA, IoT, or AI-driven warehouse solutions. Familiarity with industrial robotics, PLCs, or mechatronics. Lean/Six Sigma or PMP/Prince2 certification. Experience with global automation vendors (Dematic, Vanderlande, Honeywell Intelligrated, GreyOrange, Addverb, etc.).EligibilityEducation: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related. Experience: 5–8 years in warehouse/e-commerce automation project management.
