Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior Chef with knowledge of multi-cuisine cooking to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves assisting in meal preparation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring hygiene and efficiency in the kitchen.Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparation and cooking of meals across multiple cuisines (Indian, Continental, Asian, etc.) - Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations - Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per standards - Assist in basic menu preparation and food plating - Handle kitchen prep work including cutting, marination, and ingredient preparation - Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management - Follow instructions and recipes accurately - Ensure proper storage of food items to avoid wastageKey Requirements- 1–3 years of experience as a Commis / Junior Chef - Basic knowledge of Indian & International cuisines - Understanding of kitchen operations and hygiene standards - Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work in shifts and flexible hours - Good teamwork and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications- Diploma/Certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality - Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering setupsKey Skills- Basic multi-cuisine cooking skills - Food preparation & presentation - Time management - Attention to detail - Team collaborationShare your profile at Kanika.bhambri@
