Department: Production / EngineeringExperience: 10–15 YearsLocation: FaridabadIndustry: Manufacturing (Drawer Channel)Shift: RotationalCompetitive Salary Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 10-15 years of hands-on experience in Sheet Metals Industry (drawer channel manufacturing). The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication, electroplating processes, and assembly line operations. The role involves leading process improvements, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing manufacturing efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage mechanical design, development, and productionprocesses for drawer channels. Supervise and optimize sheet metal fabrication processes including punching,bending, forming. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for plating (ZINC/CED) quality andprocess control. Develop and implement assembly line setups and fixtures to improve efficiencyand reduce rework. Analyze product failures and implement corrective/preventive actions. Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure design feasibility andmanufacturability. Ensure compliance with ISO / quality management systems and companystandards. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and process sheets. Support new product development (NPD) and continuous process improvementinitiatives.Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication and related manufacturing processes. Expertise in Plating and Surface Treatment techniques. Understanding of mechanical assemblies and tolerance management. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and Kaizen practices preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and design teams.Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
