Job Overview: Inkjet Service Engineer An Inkjet Service Engineer is a technical specialist responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Orient inkjet printing systems used across various industries, such as packaging, labelling, manufacturing, and commercial printing across worldwide.This role ensures that printing equipment operates efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing print quality. Key Objectives Ensure smooth operation of Orient industrial inkjet printers. Minimize equipment downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. Provide excellent technical support and customer service. Maintain accurate records and feedback loops with internal teams. Main Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission new Orient inkjet systems at customer sites. Perform regular preventive maintenance and servicing. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues — mechanical, electrical, software, or ink-related. Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers. Replace faulty parts and ensure correct calibration of printing systems. Conduct customer training on proper printer use and maintenance. Document service reports, work performed, and parts used. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Hands-on experience with colour/monochrome inkjet printers or similar electro-mechanical systems. Understanding of printer mechanics, fluid systems, sensors, and control systems. Ability to read technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and use diagnostic tools. Basic IT/networking knowledge for printer software configuration. Good communication skills and customer-oriented approach. Willingness to travel and support on-site services. Valid passport.
