About the Company : The MYP & DP English Teacher is responsible for providing a stimulating learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students in the International Baccalaureate (IB). The teacher will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for the English. Responsibilities : Curriculum Planning and Delivery : Design and implement MYP&DP English curriculum in alignment with IB standards. Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students. Assessment and Evaluation : Create and administer formative and summative assessments. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student progress. Classroom Management : Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Implement effective classroom management strategies. Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere. Professional Development : Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Stay current with educational best practices and IB developments. Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and resources. Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues. Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher conferences. Engage in regular collaboration with the IB Coordinator and other faculty members. Extracurricular Involvement : Support and participate in school events and extracurricular activities. Mentor students and contribute to their holistic development. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Teaching certification/licensure for the relevant grade level. Experience teaching in the IB Middle Years & DP Programme preferred. Strong knowledge of MYP&DP philosophy, framework, and assessment criteria. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
