About the jobWe're Hiring: Technical Manager - Design & DPR (Highways, Railways)Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Company: DATAPKT Private Limited Experience: 5-10 Years Immediate Joining PreferredAbout the Role As a GIS Manager – Technical Design and DPR (Highways & Railways) at DATAPKT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical excellence of our infrastructure survey and design projects. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team working on drone-based surveys, LiDAR data processing, and engineering design for major highway and railway corridors across India.This position demands a perfect balance of technical depth and project leadership — from interpreting survey data and designing ROBs/RUBs, to guiding DPR and ESP preparation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and innovation at every stage. You will collaborate closely with internal GIS, design, and operations teams, as well as client-side engineers and consultants, to deliver high-precision outputs that power smarter, safer, and faster infrastructure development.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage GIS, LiDAR, and drone-based survey operations for highway and railway projects. Oversee DPR, ESP, and alignment design for ROB/RUB structures, rail alignments, and other technical works. Interpret and integrate survey, design, and GIS datasets into high-accuracy project deliverables. Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams for data validation, compliance, and report generation. Contribute actively to business development through technical presentations, proposal inputs, and client interactions. Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of drone survey projects. Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely operations. Maintain project records, documentation, and daily progress reports. Help track and manage team expenses and ensure reporting to management. Flag process issues and suggest operational improvements.What We’re Looking For 5-10 years of experience in operations or field coordination (freshers welcome). Excellent communication & coordination skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation tools. Experience in highway and railway DPR preparation, design coordination, and project execution.Expert in GIS And Remote Sensing Software: ESRI ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server) QGIS (Open-source alternative, plugins) Global Mapper AutoCAD / Civil 3D (for GIS-CAD integration) DGPS / GNSS Survey Tools (Trimble, Leica, Topcon) Total Station data handling Drone Survey Processing Software: Pix4D Agisoft Metashape DJI Terra Satellite imagery analysis (Sentinel, Landsat, PlanetScope, WorldView, etc.) LiDAR data processing (LAStools, TerraScan, ArcGIS LiDAR toolset) Hyperspectral/Multi-spectral image analysisWhy Join Us Work on cutting-edge drone technology and real-world infrastructure projects.
