Data Integration Engineer – SAP Data Services (BODS) + Azure Data Factory (ADF) Location: Remote Experience: 7+ years Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/IT/Related fields preferred)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Engineer with expertise in SAP Data Services (BODS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design and implement large-scale ERP data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building ETL pipelines, data migration, and hybrid integration between on-premise ERP systems and cloud platforms.The role involves working closely with ERP functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate data integration, reconciliation, and high-quality data delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows using SAP Data Services (BODS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).Extract, transform, and load data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.) into target systems such as Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Synapse, or other cloud/on-premise data warehouses.Build hybrid integration pipelines connecting on-premise ERP and SAP HANA with cloud platforms.Work with SAP ERP objects: tables, extractors, IDocs, CDS views, ODP, and map them to target schemas.Design and implement incremental loads, delta handling, and error handling frameworks.Collaborate with ERP functional and business teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data mapping.Implement data quality, profiling, and reconciliation checks for all integration flows.Ensure data security and compliance policies are followed across all integrations.Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize data pipelines for efficiency.Prepare technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration runbooks.Knowledge of other integration tools is a plus.Mandatory Skills / Keywords for SourcingSAP Data Services (BODS)Azure Data Factory (ADF)SAP ECC / S4HANAETL & Data MigrationAzure Cloud (ADLS, Synapse)ERP Data IntegrationExperience & Qualifications7+ years of experience in data integration with 2–3 large-scale ERP integration projects.Hands-on experience in cloud and on-premise integration solutions.Strong understanding of ETL best practices, incremental loading, and error handling.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business teams.Nice-to-Have / Additional SkillsKnowledge of SAP HANA, IDocs, CDS Views, ODPExperience with hybrid cloud integration scenariosFamiliarity with data quality tools and frameworks
