Company:Large Telecommunications Client Title: Imperva Engineer Location: Remote in India Duration: 12 month contract Pay Rate: 30LPA-35LPAWe are looking for amid-level Imperva Engineer(3–5 years of experience) to support our Database Security initiatives. This role requires hands-on experience withImperva Database Security , flexibility to work overnight shifts, and the ability to collaborate with both customers and internal teams. The engineer will be instrumental in implementing system changes during off-hours to reduce load on the onshore team.Key Responsibilities: Configure and implement Imperva Database Security solutions across enterprise environments. Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, massage data, and deploy tailored solutions. Perform overnight system changes and updates to support U.S.-based teams. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance. Develop and maintain automation scripts usingShell ,Python , or similar languages. Update runbooks, documentation, and tooling to improve incident response and operational readiness. Support post-incident reviews and ensure learnings are documented and actioned. Contribute to the continuous improvement of alerting systems and operational workflows.Required Skills & Experience: 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure. Must havehands-on experience withImperva Database Security . Strong background inLinux ,System Administration ,OS/Server Administration , andFirewall troubleshooting . Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.). Ability to work independently during U.S. night shift hours and occasionally sync with the team at9 AM CST . Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
