Academic Leadership - Provide vision and direction for curriculum development and academic programs - Ensure high standards in teaching, research, and student outcomes - Promote innovation in pedagogy and interdisciplinary learning 2. Administration & Governance - Oversee day-to-day operations of the institution - Implement policies in line with university, state, and national regulations - Ensure compliance with bodies like UGC/NAAC (if applicable) 3. Faculty Management - Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and academic staff - Encourage faculty development, research, and publications - Build a collaborative and performance-driven culture 4. Student Development - Foster a supportive environment for student growth and well-being - Promote extracurricular, co-curricular, and leadership activities - Address student grievances and ensure discipline 5. Strategic Planning & Growth - Develop and execute long-term institutional strategies - Build partnerships with academic institutions, industry, and stakeholders - Enhance the college’s reputation and ranking 6. Financial & Resource Management - Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation - Ensure efficient utilization of funds and infrastructure development 7. External Relations - Represent the college in academic forums, conferences, and public platforms - Liaise with regulatory authorities, alumni, and community stakeholders Eligibility Criteria - Ph.D. in a relevant discipline - Minimum 15–20 years of academic experience, with at least 5–10 years in leadership roles (e.g., Principal, Vice Principal, Dean) - Strong record of research, publications, and academic contributions - Experience with accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA) preferred Key Skills & Competencies - Strategic leadership and decision-making - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of higher education regulations in India - Financial and administrative acumen - Conflict resolution and stakeholder management
