Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This fully remote role involves monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to safeguard organizational assets.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor systems and networks for security breaches and suspicious activityPerform vulnerability assessments and penetration testingImplement and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM)Investigate and respond to security incidentsDevelop and enforce security policies and proceduresConduct risk assessments and threat analysisEnsure compliance with Indian IT laws and data protection standardsCollaborate with IT teams to secure infrastructure and applicationsProvide security awareness training to employeesMaintain documentation and incident reportsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security rolesStrong knowledge of network security, system security, and encryptionExperience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit)Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsCertifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISMExperience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of DevSecOps practicesFamiliarity with SOC operationsExperience in industries like banking, fintech, or IT services
