Position: SAP MDG Functional Consultant (MM+ BP)Location: RemoteDuration: Full timeNotice period: Immediate joiner only/Currently serving notice with less than 30 daysShift timings: 12-9 pm/2-11 pm/3 pm-12 amPosition Summary:We are seeking a highly capable and collaborative SAP MDG Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Material Master Data and Business Partner (Customer and Supplier Master) and domain knowledge in the Medical Devices/ Life Sciences industry. This role will be instrumental in gathering business requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of our SAP MDG implementation.Key Responsibilities:Engage with business users to gather and analyze requirements for enhancement requests related to Material Master and Customer and Supplier Master Data in SAP MDG.Collaborate with developers to design optimal, scalable functional solutions while ensuring alignment with business operations and regulatory requirements.Provide functional expertise to Business end user teams, helping them understand system behavior and business logic.Support the MDG AMS team by offering thought leadership and guidance to resolve functional tickets and service requests.Conduct functional testing for system enhancements and defect fixes to ensure quality and compliance.Document functional specifications, test scenarios, and process flows to support change management and knowledge sharing.Understands how Material Master from MDG will be used by downstream SAP S4 ERP processes in general cases.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in master data governance.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, with at least 2+ years focused on SAP MDG – Material Master and BP.Strong understanding of material master data structures, governance processes, and lifecycle management.Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs and specifications.Familiarity with BRF+, MDG workflows, and integration with SAP ERP systems (DRF).Solid understanding of how material master data is consumed in downstream SAP processes (e.g., Order to Cash, Warehouse management).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex system behavior to non-technical stakeholders.Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred Qualifications:Domain experience in the Medical Devices or Life Sciences industry, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (GxP).Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori-based MDG applications, and Web Dynpro.SAP MDG certification is a plus.Experience working in a validated environment.
