Most large-scale projects are for major General Contractors and Construction Managers (e.g., Tishman, Turner, Lend Lease).The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and experienced in architectural metals, glass systems, signage, construction management, or mechanical engineering. Takeoff & SchedulingPerform quantity takeoffs from drawingsReview scope and compare with sales ordersIdentify discrepancies or errorsDevelop project schedules and Gantt chartsMaintain project tracking sheets2. Shop DrawingsCoordinate with design and engineering teamsDevelop and revise shop drawingsManage approval process through multiple iterations3. ProcurementSolicit vendor pricingAssist in estimating with senior managementExecute material purchasing4. SamplesCoordinate fabrication and delivery of required samplesEnsure compliance with contract documents5. FabricationIssue work orders to productionEnsure proper execution of manufactured products6.
