The company develops and deploys a complete range of award-winning forensics, compliance, security surveillance and performance management solutions for applications ranging from core infrastructures to edge and branch environments.Key Responsibilities:•Vulnerability/Exploit/Malware research and content creation in the form of signatures and alarm specifications•Threat intelligence research•Testing security modules of NIKSUN products, such as IDS, Anomaly, Blacklist, Threat Intelligence, etc.•Demo script preparation to showcase security featuresRequired Qualifications:•2-5 years of work experience and strong knowledge of network security•Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI layers, UDP, etc.) and network security concepts (IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption)•Experience with open-source packet tools (snort, tcpdump, wireshark, etc.)•Demonstrated working knowledge of Windows and UNIX based operating systems•Experience with UNIX shell languages (SH, BASH, CSH, etc.)Desired Qualifications:•Knowledge of packet-level analysis•Knowledge in writing and optimizing IDS rules•Experience with source code control applications (eg., Gitlab, CVS, SVN)•Knowledge and experience with at least one programming language (eg., Python, C/C++)•Knowledge and use of Windows Office365 productsEducational Requirements:- BS degree or higher in Computer Science- Certifications are a plus (Security+, SSCP, GIAC, CISSP)Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality, or protected veteran status
