Job Title: Graphic & 2D Illustration Designer Job Overview: As a Graphic & illustration designer, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers/learners. The role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and proficiency in graphic design software. Knowledge of AI tools and K12 course related illustrations work is required. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualization and Design: Develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with project objectives. Create visual elements such as 2D illustrations, 2D character design, and graphics to enhance project deliverables. Layout and Production: Ensure consistency in design elements and adherence to brand guidelines. Collaboration: Work closely with clients, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs. Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create illustrations, graphics and edit designs. Understanding of animation process and software. Knowledge of 2D character (illustration) design. Knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint Knowledge and use of AI tools to create an output, also required Typography and Color Theory: Select appropriate fonts, colors, and layouts for each design project. Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography and color theory. Deadline Management: Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality designs within established timelines. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of emerging design trends, tools, and technologies. Apply new design techniques to enhance the quality of deliverables. Understanding of AI based design tools, if any Experience in K12 course graphics and illustrations required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects. Proficiency in 2D illustration, 2D character design, graphic design software and tools. K12 course related graphics and illustrations required in portfolio Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Additional Skills (optional): Animation and motion graphics skills. Experience with UI/UX design. Knowledge of 3D modelling software.
