Platform Engineer (Java | GCP | FinTech)

Role: Platform Engineer Location: India (Remote)Candidates must be available immediately or within a maximum of 30 daysNote: Candidates with an Engineering Degree in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience in Java, API development, distributed systems/microservices, GCP cloud, System Design, and preferably FinTech or banking domain expertise are highly desired.About the Role:We are seeking Senior Backend Engineers experienced in distributed systems, Java, and GCP to modernize and rebuild an internal customer-agent platform currently running on a legacy tech stack. While the data layer remains unchanged, you will design and implement new APIs and backend services that provide fast, reliable, and developer-friendly access to existing systems.Requirement: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Java (and/or Kotlin) with Spring Boot 3+ for backend service development.Hands-on expertise building REST and GraphQL APIs for distributed systems.Solid knowledge of GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE) and experience deploying/operating cloud-native workloads.Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Cloud Spanner.Practical experience with OAuth 2.0, authentication/authorization flows, and secure API design.Familiarity with observability & monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, OpenTelemetry).Ability to work independently, own services end-to-end, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
