Compliance & Security Lead (Fintech)

Money EU is a fast-growing FinTech company with 12+ years of experience in the payments industry, operating across Europe and the Middle East with offices in Barcelona and Dubai. We are building a next-generation payment gateway focused on security, scalability, and trust.  Role Overview  We are looking for a highly experienced Compliance & Security professional to lead regulatory, risk, and security initiatives across our payment platform. This role is critical to ensuring our systems meet global standards and operate with the highest level of integrity.  Key Responsibilities  • Lead compliance efforts across PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, and regional regulatory frameworks  • Design and implement internal compliance policies and audit processes  • Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to enforce secure architecture and best practices  • Conduct risk assessments and manage fraud prevention strategies  • Coordinate internal and external audits and certifications  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure continuous compliance  • Build and maintain incident response and data protection frameworks   Requirements  • 3+ years in FinTech, payments, or financial services compliance/security  • Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS, AML/KYC regulations, and data protection laws  • Experience working with payment gateways, acquiring banks, or financial institutions  • Familiarity with cloud security and application security best practices  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally   Nice to Have  • Experience with international markets (EU, Middle East)  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PCI-QSA, or similar   Why Join MoneyEU?  • Work on a high-impact, global payment product  • Fully remote role (India-based) with flexible work culture  • Collaborate with international teams across Europe and the Middle East  • Be part of a company with a strong foundation and ambitious growth plans    Interested?
