Role Overview: The NRM/Agroforestry Specialist will provide technical expertise in designing environmentally sound, livelihood-enhancing restoration and agroforestry interventions. The role ensures natural resource management priorities are fully integrated into value chain strategies. Roles and Responsibilities: ● Lead technical aspects of agroforestry and restoration activities across value chain scoping, analysis, prioritisation, and solution development. ● Support design of field survey protocols and selection of focal species. ● Advise on technical interventions and capacity-building material. ● Actively participate in stakeholder consultations and fieldwork. ● Support drafting and delivery of comprehensive project reports. Qualifications & Experience: ● Master’s/Diploma in Environmental Science, Forestry, or NRM. ● English & Hindi language proficiency ● 8 years of professional experience in the natural resources management, agroforestry and nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in agroforestry and nature based value chains; 2 years of the total experience in value chain-related projects in Rajasthan and/or Maharashtra Desired Skills and Competencies: ● In-depth agroforestry and natural resource management knowledge. ● Strong field research and technical reporting abilities. ● Ability to design restoration activities and community-centric interventions.
