IT & Systems Manager (Creative Studio)

Location: Dehradun Type: Full-time Salary: ₹3–5 LPA (based on experience & expertise) Who We Are We’re Vortex Studios — a young, ambitious creative studio that has been crafting campaigns, films, and branded content for bold brands over the last 3 years. Behind every frame we produce, there’s a backbone of tech and systems that keeps the creativity flowing. Now, we’re looking for an IT & Systems Manager — someone who can make sure our tools, systems, and networks run as seamlessly as our ideas. The Role This isn’t your average IT support role. We’re looking for a tech-savvy partner-in-creation who can: Manage and optimize our software, apps, and editing systems . Keep our hardware, networking, and server infrastructure running smoothly. Ensure data security, backups, and surveillance systems are rock solid. Troubleshoot fast in the high-pressure world of post-production deadlines . Support the creative team by making sure 15 systems, 5 editing stations, 1 server, and studio networking stay reliable. Bring experience from post-production studios / agencies , where creative + technical collide. What You’ll Be Doing System & Hardware Management → Maintain 15 workstations, 5 editing stations, and studio devices. Networking & Server Ops → Manage LAN/WAN, server performance, and storage. Software & App Management → Install, update, and manage creative & productivity tools. Data & Security → Implement backups, firewalls, antivirus, and surveillance systems. Creative Support → Work closely with editors, producers, and designers to ensure smooth workflows. Tech Upgrades → Research and suggest tools/tech that keep us up-to-date with industry standards. Who You Are 2+ years of experience in IT/Systems roles , ideally in a post-production house, creative agency, or media company . Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and data security . Experience with video editing systems, storage solutions, and creative software environments . Proactive, quick problem-solver who thrives under creative deadlines. A tech guardian who ensures the creative team never slows down because of system issues. Always curious about new tools, AI workflows, and industry innovations .
