ATEC’s patented IoT technology means usage data is converted into 100% data-verified carbon credits - a global first for the sector. ATEC is now expanding across Asia & Africa - working with last-mile distributors and net-zero partners to decarbonise cooking at scale.The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of human resource operations across ATEC, ensuring that people processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company’s goals. The HR Officer focuses on executing core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, performance support, and employee relations, while helping to build a positive and productive work environment.In our mission-driven environment, the HR Officer is expected to balance administrative excellence with proactive problem-solving—identifying gaps in processes, improving workflows, and supporting managers in making sound people decisions. The HR Officer plays an important part in maintaining a culture of #one team, #continuous learning, and #goal oriented.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1.Talent Acquisition & OnboardingPosts vacancies and manages ATSConducts initial CV screeningSchedules and coordinates interviewsConducts longlisting of applications with the assistance of HRMCoordinates onboarding logistics (paperwork, system access, induction schedules)Updates Policies and relevant information on Trainual Tracks recruitment metrics2.HR Administration & ComplianceMaintains employee records and HRIS accuracyTracks compliance deadlines and policy acknowledgementsSupports audits and documentation requestsIn collaboration with HRM reviews and updates HR policies 3.Employee Engagement, Learning & DevelopmentAdministers engagement surveysCoordinates training sessions and workshopsTracks participation and learning completionManages recognition program logisticsCollects feedback and prepares reports4.Employee RelationsHandles routine ER matters Documents cases and maintains records Supports investigation processes Escalates high-risk matters5.Performance ManagementAdministers performance review cycleTracks completion ratesPrepares documentation for PIPsMonitors deadlines and complianceAdministers employee benefits processes6.Global HR Initiatives & ProjectsSupports project coordination and documentation Assists with HR systems implementation logistics Tracks rollout milestones Supports communication of new policies and processesOther duties as delegated by the line Manager.SELECTION CRITERIAQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEdegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related fieldStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Google Workspace as well as MS Office suiteAt least 3 years’ experience running end-to-end HR functions (recruitment, onboarding, performance management) in a mission-driven or impact-focused organization.High level of confidentiality and professionalismAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAlignment with ATEC’s core values of One Team, Continuous Learning & Goal-OrientatedEnjoy working in a fast paced and distributed startup/scaleup work environmentComfortable with rapid iterationHigh attention to detailResolute in using your skills and experience to make the strongest possible impact in the world
