Finance Executive / Accountant | Mudgar Club (Dehradun, On-site)

Mudgar Club is looking for an Accounts, Finance & Compliance Executive who can take real ownership of the company’s finance operations and help us build strong systems for long-term growth.This role is not limited to basic bookkeeping. We want someone who understands GST, billing, reconciliations, D2C e-commerce, Shopify, Amazon, banking, export/international shipping documentation, and financial compliance in a practical business environment.The right person will help us keep the company financially organised, compliant, and ready for growth — including future bank loans, due diligence, and expansion in India and international markets.ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record managementManage invoicing, billing, payment entries, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliationsEnsure proper handling of GST, TDS, and other compliance-related workPrepare and maintain clean financial documentation, reports, and supporting recordsWork on Shopify and Amazon related financial reconciliation, settlement tracking, order-wise matching, and platform-related accountingUnderstand and manage D2C e-commerce finance operations including payment gateways, refunds, shipping charges, COD-related entries, marketplace deductions, and settlement issuesSupport international billing, export documentation, shipping-related financial coordination, LUT/basic export compliance understanding, and overseas transaction handlingCoordinate with CA, consultants, banks, and internal team whenever requiredHelp prepare the company for loan readiness, due diligence readiness, audit readiness, and structured financial growthBuild and improve finance systems so that the company remains organised, transparent, and decision-readyQualificationsGood practical knowledge of accounts, GST, TDS, billing, and complianceExperience in D2C / e-commerce accounting is strongly preferredWorking understanding of Shopify, Amazon seller finance/reconciliation, payment gateway settlements, and shipping-related entriesKnowledge of international shipping, export-related billing/documentation, and related finance processes will be strongly preferredComfortable using accounting software, Excel, and business reporting toolsDetail-oriented, organised, honest, and dependableAble to work with ownership and solve issues without constant follow-upExperience in a product-based business / growing brand / SME will be preferredCompensationSalary range: ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and fitLocationDehradun, UttarakhandOn-site roleWe are building Mudgar Club with long-term intent and want someone who believes in doing financial work properly, cleanly, and with responsibility.
