Manager-Finance & Accounts (Residential-Construction)

We are seeking an experienced Manager-Finance & Accounts to oversee financial operations for our residential construction projects. The role involves managing project accounts, budgeting, cost control, statutory compliance, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cash flow management.Job Responsibilities:Accounting & Finance:Maintain books of accounts for residential construction projectsManage project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and profitability analysisPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsHandle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor paymentsMonitor cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital requirementsBudgeting & Cost Control:Prepare project budgets and monitor actuals vs estimatesTrack construction costs including materials, labor, contractors, and overheadsIdentify cost overruns and recommend corrective actionsCompliance & Statutory Requirements:Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable lawsManage GST returns, TDS filings, and statutory auditsCoordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authoritiesVendor & Contract Management:Review contractor bills, purchase orders, and agreementsReconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepanciesEnsure timely payments as per contract termsCoordination & Reporting:Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and sales teamsPrepare MIS reports for management including project-wise profitabilitySupport management in financial planning and decision-makingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or AccountingCA (Inter)/ CMA / MBA (Finance) preferredSkillsStrong knowledge of construction accounting and real estate financeProficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar systems)Excellent knowledge of GST and taxation related to real estateStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.ExperienceExperience in Residential real estate or construction accountingKnowledge of RERA financial compliance Handling multiple projects simultaneously
