Business Development Manager – Organic Lead GenerationGrowth Engineering Impact Suite & ZavmoLocation: India (Remote) | Target Market: UK EdTech – Enterprise & Educational InstitutionsExperience: 10+ years EdTech sales with UK/USA companiesCompensation: INR 10-14L base + commission (OTE: INR 16-22L)ABOUT USGrowth Engineering (founded 2003): gamified LMS serving Apple, Cisco, L'Oréal, HP. Maps to National Occupational Standards and OFQUAL qualifications.THE ROLESole person responsible for converting marketing-qualified leads into sales-qualified meetings with senior decision-makers. Report directly to Marketing Manager.Book meetings with L&D Directors, Chief Learning Officers, and OD leaders at UK enterprises and educational institutions. Work with MLQs from and plus LinkedIn campaigns.This requires deep learning technology understanding and ability to engage senior leadership with credibility. We need proven, stable track record from UK/USA-based EdTech companies.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLead Management:• Own complete MLQ-to-meeting pipeline across both brands• Respond to all inbound enquiries within 24 hours• Prioritise leads by seniority, budget authority, product fitQualification & Discovery:• Conduct qualification calls using BANT methodology• Assess whether prospects need Impact Suite (gamification), Zavmo (AI personalisation), or integrated solution• Identify organisational challenges and decision-making processMeeting Booking:• Schedule qualified meetings with senior L&D/OD leaders• Ensure meetings meet strict qualification criteria• Prepare detailed pre-meeting briefings for sales team• Coordinate calendars across time zones (India to UK)Marketing Partnership:• Work closely with Marketing Manager on lead quality and campaign performance• Provide weekly feedback on messaging effectiveness and market intelligence• Track conversion rates, meeting bookings, and pipelineTARGETSMonthly:• Book 10-15 qualified meetings with senior leaders• Process 100-150 MLQs across both brands• Maintain 18-25% meeting conversion rate• 24-hour response time on all enquiriesQuarterly:• Generate 30-40 qualified meetings• Contribute to 2-3 crore in closed revenueMEETING QUALIFICATION CRITERIA• L&D Director, CLO, Head of OD level• Budget authority confirmed• 500+ employees OR regulated industry• Clear business need for gamified learning, skills intelligence, or compliance• Active project within 6-12 monthsESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS• 10+ years consistently hitting EdTech sales targets with proven meeting-booking and revenue contribution• Stable employment history with UK or USA-based companies• Proven UK enterprise sales experience – multinationals, private companies, educational institutions• Extensive senior-level engagement – comfortable with C-suite and director-level contacts• Excellent English – native-level fluency with perfect grammar and professional business writing. Non-negotiable• Deep understanding of learning technology – LMS, mobile learning, gamification, AI in learning, compliance• Multi-product sales experience• CRM mastery – Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar• Self-motivated and highly organised – proven ability to work independently• Comfortable with UK business hours (approximately 1:30pm-10pm IST)• Verifiable references from UK/USA-based EdTech companiesHIGHLY DESIRABLE• Experience with gamified learning platforms and AI learning technologies• Knowledge of apprenticeship levy, OFQUAL qualifications, NOS frameworks• Regulated industries experience (energy, finance, healthcare)• Established UK L&D community connections• LinkedIn Sales Navigator proficiency• Track record of 20%+ meeting conversion rates• Experience selling into 1,000+ employee organisationsIDEAL CANDIDATEProven professional with 10+ years solid, stable track record from reputable UK/USA-based EdTech companies.
