Lead Data Scientist

About the Role:We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure to drive end-to-end data science initiatives. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI models for real-world business problemsDesign and implement scalable data science solutions using Azure cloud servicesCollaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsBuild, optimize, and maintain ML pipelines and model lifecycle management (MLOps)Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analystsEnsure best practices in model performance, monitoring, and governanceStay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and cloud technologiesRequired Skills & Experience:8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AIStrong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languagesHands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SynapseExperience in building and deploying ML models at scaleSolid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, NLP, or computer visionExperience with MLOps frameworks and toolsStrong problem-solving and stakeholder management skillsGood to Have:Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI systemsFamiliarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorchAzure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate)Experience working in agile environments
