The consultant will be trained on ongoing initiatives and will be responsible for local support, ensuring continuity and system stability. The role involves developing and optimizing SAP MII/ME applications to improve operational efficiency, real-time data visibility, and traceability on the shopfloor.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain SAP MII applications, iViews, dashboards, and reports tailored to shopfloor needsSupport SAP ME configurations related to routing, work instructions, data collection, and production trackingTroubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues across SAP ME/MII systems in live production environmentsWork closely with manufacturing, IT, and production teams to understand requirements and deliver user-centric solutionsDevelop and optimize Business Logic Services (BLS) and custom web interfaces using UI5 and FioriEnsure data integrity and alignment between MES and ERP systems (S/4HANA or ECC)Build SQL queries, views, and data models for integration and reportingDocument all solutions, changes, and procedures clearly and effectivelySupport site-level digital transformation initiatives for improved visibility and performanceMust-Have Skills5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MII and/or SAP ME development and supportProficiency in JavaScript, SQL, XML, and related web technologiesExperience with BLS, iViews, and SAP UI5/Fiori application developmentHands-on experience with source control tools and SAP NWDIStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities in production environmentsClear understanding of manufacturing processes and MES–ERP integrationNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integrationFamiliarity with manufacturing KPIs and real-time data architectureExperience with SAP PCo, OPC interfaces, or SCADA systemsExposure to Industry 4.0 or shopfloor automation tools
