The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK accounting practices and a passion for providing top-notch financial services.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.Conduct audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.Manage client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide tax advisory services.Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Liaise with clients to address and resolve accounting and financial issues.Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.1-4 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably within the UK.Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
