Head Security Vigilance

Job Title: Head Security & Vigilance Location:Aurangabad / Silvassa (with frequent travel across locations) Reporting To:Chief Human Resources Officer, STL Role Purpose TheHead – Security & Vigilanceis responsible forprotecting people, assets, information, and reputationof the organization by designing and leading arobust security, vigilance, and risk management frameworkacross all locations. The role ensures prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud, misconduct, theft, sabotage, and security threats while maintaining strong coordination with law enforcement, regulators, and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities 1. Physical & Asset Security Design and implementend-to-end physical security strategyfor plants, warehouses, offices, data centres, and project sites. Oversee deployment and performance ofsecurity agencies , guards, access control, perimeter security, CCTV, and surveillance systems. Ensure protection ofcritical assets, materials, finished goods, and high-value inventory . Conduct periodicsecurity audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mapping .2. Vigilance & Investigations Leadvigilance frameworkfor prevention and investigation of fraud, corruption, theft, conflict of interest, and ethical misconduct. Conductfact-based, confidential investigationsinto complaints, whistle-blower cases, and management referrals. Prepare investigation reports withclear findings, root causes, and recommended actions . Coordinate with HR, Legal, Finance, and Audit ondisciplinary actions and remediation .3. Fraud Risk Management Identifyfraud-prone areas Work closely with Internal Audit tostrengthen controls and preventive mechanisms . Track and reportfraud loss prevention and recovery metrics . Build employee awareness throughfraud risk and vigilance sensitization programs .4. Crisis Management & Business Continuity Lead response tosecurity incidents, thefts, violence, unrest, natural disasters, cyber-physical threats , and emergency situations. Develop and periodically testcrisis response and evacuation plans . Act as single point of contact forlaw enforcement, local administration, and emergency services .5. Contractor, Vendor & Supply Chain Security Ensure robustsecurity and background verificationof security vendors, contractors, transporters, and critical third parties. Monitorcontract labour movement , gate controls, material movement, and logistics security. Prevent pilferage, diversion, and supply chain leakages.6. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance withFactories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, local security regulations , and statutory norms. Maintain strong documentation, SOPs, incident logs, and compliance records.7. Technology & Digital Security Enablement Drive use oftechnology-led security solutions : Integrated CCTV & command centres Access control & biometrics Incident reporting systems Collaborate with IT oncyber-physical risk convergencewhere applicable.8. Team Leadership & Capability Building Build and lead ahigh-integrity, disciplined security & vigilance team . Set KRAs, monitor performance, and ensure continuous skill upgradation. Create a culture ofzero tolerance to misconduct with fairness and confidentiality .Candidate Profile Education Graduate (mandatory); Post-graduate preferred Ex-Defence / Paramilitary / Police / Intelligence backgroundorsenior corporate security professional Certifications inSecurity Management / Risk Management / Fraud ExaminationpreferredExperience 15–25+ yearsof experience inSecurity, Vigilance, Risk, or Investigations Strong exposure tomanufacturing plants, large workforces, unions, and contractor ecosystems Proven experience handlingcomplex investigations and crisis situations Experience in large corporates, conglomerates, or PSU-like environments preferred
