Hotel Maintenance Manager

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Chief Engineer Maintenance Manager to oversee the entire engineering and maintenance operations of our 4-star hotel in Daman The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of all hotel facilities maintain high safety standards and support our commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of hotel maintenance including electrical mechanical plumbing HVAC water systems and general building upkeep Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations Supervise train and lead the engineering maintenance team ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives Coordinate with external vendors contractors and government authorities for repair maintenance and compliance requirements Ensure all equipment systems and facilities comply with statutory safety health and environmental regulations Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to maintenance ensuring timely resolution Prepare budgets for engineering operations track expenses and maintain cost efficiency Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and prepare reports for management Support in emergency situations fire power outage water supply breakdown etc with immediate corrective action Qualifications Requirements Diploma Degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry At least 1 year of prior experience as a Chief Engineer Maintenance Manager in a hotel environment Strong technical knowledge across mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems Leadership and team management skills with hands-on problem-solving ability Good communication planning and organizational skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay - per month Ability to commute relocate Daman Daman and Diu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience Property maintenance 1 year Required Work Location In person
