Job title: Construction Manager Work Location: Cuttack Division / Department: Projects Site Team Reports to: Head Projects (Proxima) Salary: Upto 11 LPA The Construction Manager will play a critical role in supervising the end-to-end execution of large-scale warehouse and industrial construction project. This includes project planning, procurement, construction, safety, cost tracking, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. The role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of high-quality infrastructure in alignment with the approved budget and safety standards & timely coordination on securing statutory Key responsibilities Description Project Execution & Oversight • Coordinate and execute construction activities on-site. • Oversee project planning, scheduling, design coordination, and quality compliance from inception to completion. Statutory Approvals • To ensure all mandatory permissions, licenses, and clearances are obtained in time. • Effective coordination with Statutory consultants to secure statutory approvals. • Possess knowledge in dealing with various statutory approval bodies, like Building Plan Approval, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department etc., • Tracking approval timelines to align with project milestones • Notify any delays while receiving approvals. Time & Progress Monitoring • Monitor and track work progress as per agreed schedule. • Finalize and maintain micro-schedules in coordination with contractors and internal teams. • Notify delays and mitigation actions. Cost & Budget Control • Track and control project expenditure against approved budgets. • Prepare project cash flows, cost optimization plans, and conduct earned value management. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) • Develop and implement the HSE management plan. • Conduct quarterly internal audits. • Ensure Zero Reportable Lost Time Injury (RLTI) and Zero Major Dangerous Occurrence. Quality Assurance & Checks • Prepare and implement Quality Management Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). • Conduct audits and address quality non-conformities. Design & Coordination • Manage design delivery in coordination with consultants and internal stakeholders. • Ensure all design data is up to date. • Resolve design-related issues through regular workshops. Development Targets • Drive execution aligned with development targets for each project phase. • Align micro-plans and procurement to meet timelines and leasing commitments. Stakeholder Management • Collaborate effectively with contractors, PMCs, consultants, and internal departments. • Maintain proactive communication and reporting to senior management. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) • # RLTI and dangerous occurrences • HSE audit score Quality Assurance & Checks • Quality audit compliance % • No. of quality NCRs • Resolution TAT Stakeholder Management • Stakeholder satisfaction score • Frequency of review meetings.
