Electrical Project Manager - EV Charging

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Company: Hydra Charging Salary: ₹40,000/month About Us At Hydra Charging, we are building the future of sustainable mobility by deploying a fast-growing network of 120kW DC EV chargers across Tamil Nadu. As a Charge Point Operator (CPO), we focus on reliability, speed, and customer convenience at every charging location. Role Overview We are looking for an Electrical LProject Manager who will act as the key point of contact between Hydra Charging and TNEB (Tamil Nadu Electricity Board). The ideal candidate will oversee all electrical works at our charging sites, ensure compliance with EB norms, and manage the approval and energisation process end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with TNEB officials (AD, AE, etc.) to obtain load approvals, connections, and site energisation. Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure safety and quality compliance. Prepare and maintain documentation required for EB liaisoning and approvals. Work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure timely completion of EB-related works. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical or EB-related issues at charging sites. Requirements ✅ Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. ✅ Possession of a valid C-License (mandatory). ✅ Strong knowledge of TNEB processes, approvals, and documentation. ✅ Field experience in industrial or infrastructure electrical projects preferred. ✅ Excellent communication and liaison skills with government departments. ✅ Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu for site coordination.
