Our American-trained in-house team ensures each project meets the highest international standards. Based in Mumbai, we support more than 70 projects for customers such as Renfra, Cleantech Solar, WRS, Big Basket, Zomato, and Mahindra Logistics. Role Description The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development, revenue growth, and market expansion in the renewable energy sector across multiple states. The role requires a strong understanding of solar parks, open access regulations, EPC + O&M solutions, and customer engagement strategies. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver bankable proposals and ensure sustained business growth. LOCATION - Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India (Should be proficient in speaking local languauge.) Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Revenue Growth Achieve business development targets across assigned states. Build long-term relationships with anchor clients to secure repeat business. 2. Market Development Identify and onboard partners for solar parks (land aggregation, grid connectivity, approvals). Develop a pipeline of C&I customers seeking open access power in Andhra Pradesh. Pitch, negotiate, and close turnkey EPC + O&M solutions leveraging solar park partnerships. Structure proposals based on customer consumption, ToD tariffs, and open access regulations. 4. Regulatory & Commercial Mapping Track state-wise open access policies, ToD tariffs, and regulatory changes. Translate regulatory frameworks into customer-specific value propositions. 5. Stakeholder Management Build relationships with DISCOMs, nodal agencies, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate with internal EPC, engineering, and O&M teams for proposal design and execution. 6. Business Development & Customer Engagement Identify and qualify prospects in alignment with company strategy. Address customer pain points with tailored technical and commercial solutions. Expand client base through referrals, rewards programs, and innovative outreach. 7. Sales Leadership & Target Achievement Lead the regional sales team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitor performance, analyze gaps, and implement corrective measures. Drive creative initiatives to expand market share. 8. Events & Market Engagement Plan and manage participation in renewable expos with clear ROI metrics. Track industry developments, competitor activities, and market news for actionable insights. 9. Training & Development Train sales teams on product knowledge, regulatory updates, and market trends. Identify skill gaps and recommend upskilling programs to ensure competitiveness. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. 7–10 years of experience in sales/business development in renewable energy, EPC, or power sector. Strong knowledge of open access, C&I solar, and ToD tariff structures. Proven ability to close large-ticket EPC + O&M projects. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results under tight timelines.
