Scada Engineer

NovintiX is seeking an experienced Ignition Developer to support a high-impact industrial automation initiative. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Ignition-based SCADA, MES, and IIoT solutions, working closely with plant operations, business stakeholders, and IT/OT teams to deliver scalable and reliable automation systems• Act as hands-on technical authority for Ignition SCADA, MES, and IIoT solutions• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements• Design, develop, and deploy Ignition projects using Gateway and Designer• Build HMI dashboards, alarms, reports, workflows, and data pipelines• Configure tag providers, transaction groups, tag historian, and MQTT connectivity• Integrate Ignition with PLCs, OPC UA servers, SQL databases, ERP/MES systems• Participate in architecture reviews, scalability planning, and performance optimization• Ensure coding standards, documentation, cybersecurity, and ISA-95 compliance• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance&• 5–8 years of experience in Industrial Automation / SCADA / MES / IIoT• Strong hands-on experience with Ignition v8• Expertise in Ignition SCADA, MES modules, MQTT, and IIoT architectures• Solid understanding of PLC integration, OPC UA, and SQL databases• Experience with industrial data modeling, historian systems, and reporting• Exposure to manufacturing execution systems• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices
