Design Engineer

Job Description: Automation Design Engineer Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on designing systems for industrial or automotive applications. Proven experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI development. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in construction equipment or heavy machinery automation is highly desirable. Experience in Autocad & Creo will be added advantage. Technical Skills : Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram). Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including their design and integration with automation systems. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, CAN). Knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial IoT, and emerging automation technologies (e.g., AI, machine vision, digital twins) is an advantage. Understanding of electrical schematics and control system design. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on seamless interaction with structural engineers and other teams. Ability to work in fast-paced, field-based environments during initial support phases.
