Automation Engineer

Job Overview: As an Automation Engineer at Southern Automation, you will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and implementing automation systems for industrial control processes. This includes working on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and integrating various control system components Responsibilities: 3 - 5 years Experience with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC, HMI & SCADA Programming PLC, HMI & SCADA Software Development for an equipment or process with Flow, Pressure, Vibration, Temperature and Control Valves. Develop project Hardware configuration & control architecture, integration of various devices in the project. Developing of Sequence of operation & testing of machine or process Designing and testing automation equipment and processes. Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams for automation systems. Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including system architecture, functional specifications, and user manuals. PLC/HMI trouble shooting support and Commissioning support. Skills Required Familiar with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC, HMI & SCADA Programming Should have wide knowledge on process flow and development. Familiar with System Architecture, panel drawings, cable schedules, plant layouts, P&ID Familiar with communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, etc Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, and Structured Text Debug and Commissioning of PLC Systems and HMI systems,Configuring and Installation of VFD’s Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Communication Skill Candidates with Minimum 7 Years experience in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC, HMI & SCADA.
