Exp. 25+ Years (Mandatory experience in Engineering / Manufacturing industry)Languages Tamil, English (Excellent communication required both written and speaking) & Hindi (Added advantage)Candidate’s Location Preferred Location : Tamil Nadu or candidates who are native of Tamil and working in other States but desiring to return to Tamil NaduJob Description / ResponsibilitiesRole Overview The General Manager – HR, IR & Admin will be responsible for leading the overall Human Resources, Industrial Relations, and Administrative functions of the manufacturing unit. The role involves developing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, managing workforce planning, ensuring statutory compliance, fostering harmonious industrial relations, and overseeing plant administration.Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic HR Leadership Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning. Drive performance management systems and productivity improvement initiatives. Design and monitor compensation & benefits structures. Lead employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Legal Compliance – (Non-Unionized Setup) Develop and maintain a proactive employee relations framework to sustain a stable, union-free work environment across all plant locations. Establish structured grievance redressal mechanisms to address employee concerns promptly and prevent escalation. Drive transparent communication practices, employee engagement initiatives, and leadership connect programs to strengthen trust and workplace harmony. Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, PF, ESI, etc.). Represent the company before labor authorities and government bodies. Maintain discipline and implement standing orders effectively.3 . Plant HR Operations Oversee recruitment for plant and staff workforce. Manage attendance, payroll coordination, and contract labor management. Ensure smooth onboarding, training, and skill development programs. Monitor employee welfare activities.4. Administration & Facility Management Supervise plant administration, security, transport, and housekeeping. Manage vendor contracts and facility maintenance. Ensure safety standards and statutory compliance in coordination with EHS team.5. Policy & Process Governance Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs. Conduct internal audits for statutory and compliance adherence. Maintain HR MIS, dashboards, and reporting to top management.Key Competencies Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations & Tamil Nadu labour laws including the new Labour Codes implemented recently.
