Job Title: Deputy Manager – Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Location: Coimbatore Experience Required: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-time Department: Risk Management / Information Security Preference: Early joiners will be prioritized Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced professional to manage and strengthen our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and testing BCP/DR strategies, while aligning them with enterprise risk management and cyber resilience frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) framework in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and potential disruptions. Coordinate the development of recovery strategies and ensure timely updates to BCP and DR plans across business units. Work closely with cybersecurity , IT infrastructure , and risk management teams to ensure DR readiness and resilience against cyber incidents. Plan and execute DR drills , tabletop exercises, and simulations; track results and drive continuous improvement. Maintain documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and senior management reporting. Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely closure of observations. Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates related to BCMS, DR, and cybersecurity risk management . Foster a culture of business continuity awareness through periodic training and communication initiatives. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of BCMS frameworks (ISO 22301) and DR methodologies . Hands-on experience with risk management , control assessment , and cyber risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Experience in BIA, crisis management , and incident response planning . Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field. Certifications such as CBCP, ISO 22301 LA/LI, CISA, CRISC , or equivalent are preferred. Experience working in BFSI, Telecom, or IT/ITES sectors will be an advantage.
