Dear Candidate,We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal & Tax ComplianceOfficer to manage statutory, regulatory, and tax-related compliance for ourorganization. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, updatedknowledge of Indian tax laws, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly withinternal teams and external authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Advisory- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory tax filings. - Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and other applicable taxes. - Support in tax audits, assessments, and responding to notices from authorities. - Assist in tax planning, compliance reviews, and process improvements.Legal & Regulatory Compliance- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, labour laws, and other regulatory requirements. - Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation. - Coordinate for ROC filings,board resolutions, and secretarial compliance. - Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.Internal Controls & Documentation- Review agreements, vendor Contracts, and internal policies for legal compliance. - Support internal audits and ensure implementation of corrective actions. - Maintain accurate records for statutory and tax-related documentation.Cross-Functional Support- Work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations for compliance alignment. - Provide advisory inputs on new regulations and policy changes.✅ Skills & Competencies- Must be qualified CA inter/CA - Minimum experience should be 2 years - Strong understanding of Direct & Indirect Tax laws - Knowledge of corporate legal compliance - Excellent analytical & documentation skills - Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and compliance tools - Ability to handle audits, assessments & statutory queriesInterested candidates please forward your resume to beena.c@Regards,Priya Rajan
