No. of positions: 2 Location: Chennai Education & Experience Mechanical engineering Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Technical writing Work from office only Job location at Chennai Job Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer is required. Hands on experience in Madcap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word. Familiar with STE, MSTP, and other style guides . Experienced knowledge of Fire and safety is an added advantage Strong understanding of topic-based authoring: single sourcing, content reuse, global projects, conditional text and variables Knowledge in reading Engineering drawings: 2D and 3D. Job Responsibilities: Create /develop manuals, procedures, and other documents in accordance with Customer standards and templates. Edit and format documents with a high degree of accuracy, speed, and quality within deadlines. Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner. Coordinate with Peer Tech Writer, Illustrator, Project Lead and Onsite Lead for inputs/feedback/illustrations to complete the task. Other skills Strong written and verbal communication skills . Should have good command in English, written and spoken. Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and create highly usable, effective documentation and Create various deliverables. Participate in periodic product team meetings and work as part of the software development lifecycle to produce documentation to be delivered as part of the products Use established standards and style to produce clear, concise, and maintainable documentation
