Job Description:

The Pharma Delivery Leader is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of pharma customers, ensuring operational excellence, financial Management, and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in driving transformation initiatives, integrating delivery across multiple lines of business and services, and maintaining robust governance and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to advancing the organization’s delivery capabilities.Key Responsibilities Financial Management (P&L): Own and manage the profit and loss statement for assigned programs and projects. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Delivery Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks at both program and project levels. Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and risk management practices. Conduct regular reviews to track progress, resolve issues, and optimize delivery outcomes. Delivery Operations Oversight: Lead hiring processes to build high-performing teams, including recruitment, onboarding, and training. Oversee resource allocation, leave management, and workforce planning to support delivery needs. Implement corporate initiatives and guidelines, operational best practices to enhance efficiency and employee engagement. Opportunity, RFP, and Lead Management: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector. Manage the end-to-end process for requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead generation activities. Work closely with sales and business development teams to drive growth and secure new engagements. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular meetings and site visits. Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction. Gather feedback and insights to inform service improvements and strategic initiatives. Transformation Leadership: Champion transformation initiatives focused on solutions, capability building, and generative AI adoption. Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative delivery models and practices. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agility throughout the organization. Integrated Delivery Across Lines of Business and Services: Ensure seamless delivery across multiple business units and service lines. Coordinate resources, processes, and communication to achieve integrated outcomes. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among diverse teams. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 20 years’ experience in delivery management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Proven track record of financial management, including P&L ownership and budget oversight. Demonstrated expertise in program and project governance, operational excellence, and team leadership. Experience managing opportunities, RFPs, and client relationships in a dynamic environment. Strong understanding of transformation initiatives, including solutions, capability development, and Gen AI technologies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive integrated delivery outcomes.
