Job Title: Safety Officer Experience: 5 – 10 Years CTC: ₹5 – ₹6 LPA Location: Mylapore, Chennai Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent certification Role Overview: We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer to oversee and implement safety measures at our residential and commercial high-rise construction sites. The candidate will ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and foster a culture of safety among all workers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and enforce corrective actions. Ensure safety in high-risk activities: work-at-height, scaffolding, crane operations, etc. Conduct daily toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing safety training. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures. Maintain statutory safety documentation and ensure legal compliance. Ensure PPE usage, fire safety measures, and emergency preparedness. Coordinate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies during audits and inspections. Desired Candidate Profile: 5–10 years of experience in safety roles within construction (residential/commercial high-rises). Strong understanding of local safety laws and construction site hazards. Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / ISO 45001 or equivalent is preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
