Job Title: Air Freight Pricing Executive Department: Air Freight / Pricing Location: (Chennai) Experience Required: 1–2 Years Shift Type: Rotational Shifts (Day/Night/Weekend) Reports To: Air Freight Manager / Pricing Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Air Freight Pricing Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive pricing proposals, coordinating with carriers and agents, and supporting the sales and operations teams to secure air freight business. The role requires adaptability to rotational shifts and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and analyze air freight rates from carriers, agents, and service providers. Prepare and submit pricing quotations to sales teams and clients in a timely manner. Support sales teams with rate negotiations and tailored pricing solutions. Coordinate with airlines and consolidators to ensure competitive pricing. Maintain an updated database of rate tariffs, surcharges, and airline schedules. Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies. Ensure all quotes and pricing activities comply with company policies and client requirements. Work in rotational shifts to support pricing requests across different time zones. Collaborate closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo movement. Provide regular pricing performance reports to the management. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight pricing or freight forwarding. Good understanding of air freight operations and international trade terms (Incoterms). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and logistics software tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts , including weekends and public holidays if required. Preferred Skills: Experience working with airline portals and freight management systems. Knowledge of industry documentation (AWB, MAWB, HAWB, etc.). Multilingual capabilities are an advantage.
