Job descriptionJob Title: Marketing Officer BTL & Ground-Level ActivitiesLocation: ChennaiIndustry: FMCGJob SummaryWe are looking for a field-oriented Marketing Officer to execute Below-The-Line (BTL) and ground-level marketing activities to drive brand visibility, product awareness, and sales in assigned markets across Chennai for FMCG Co.Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute BTL marketing activities such as product sampling, in-store promotions, roadshows, canopy promotions, and van campaigns. - Coordinate and supervise promoters, merchandising staff, and agency partners at the ground level. - Ensure effective in-store branding including POSM visibility, displays, and planogram compliance. - Work closely with sales teams to support secondary sales and retailer activation. - Identify high-potential outlets and markets for promotional activities. - Monitor daily execution and ensure quality and brand compliance. - Collect market feedback, consumer insights, and competitor activity reports. - Track promotion effectiveness and submit activity-wise reports and photos. - Manage BTL budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.Desired Candidate Profile- Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline. - 2–5 years of experience in BTL marketing / field marketing in an FMCG company. - Hands-on experience in ground activations, retail marketing, and consumer promotions. - Strong coordination, execution, and people-management skills. - Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai and nearby markets. - Good communication skills in Tamil & English.Key Skills- BTL Marketing & Activation - Ground-Level Execution - Retail & Trade Marketing - Promoter & Agency Management - Brand Visibility & POSM - Market Research & ReportingCompensation & Benefits- CTC: Maximum gross up to 5 LPA - Travel allowance and statutory benefits
